Our Policies
Because we value our doves, we take precautions to protect them and ensure their safety. Therefore, when you book with us, you must understand and agree to the following:
We release only well trained, well cared for, pure white doves that possess a homing instinct. These are also known as Rock Doves or Columba Livia. Our doves have been raised and trained to return home after being released, and each bird is banded with a seamless, permanent identification / registration band.
We will not release birds if the conditions become unsafe. Therefore, we cannot release birds indoors, at night, or during bad weather. If conditions become unacceptable for the planned release to take place due to inclement weather or some other adverse circumstance, we will gladly refund all monies.
We do not release birds beyond a range that they are able to safely fly within a reasonable timeframe, which will generally be no more than fifty miles from our lofts (Please refer to the “Services” page to see our Service Area).
Every event will be attended by at least one knowledgeable release coordinator. Our release coordinators will be professionally dressed, on time, and reliable. Therefore, we will not drop off, allow pick up, or ship doves for self-release.
Payment is required at the time of reservation. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your service and discuss any necessary details. We will contact you once again one week prior to your event. All monies are fully refundable up to that time.
*This does not apply to funeral services; however, payment in full is required prior to funeral releases as well.
*Payment is non-refundable if a delay in the event prohibits the release due to daylight constraints.
